Painted Glass
Dear customers, our hand-painted glassware is made from sodalime glass decorated with high emanel paint of seven basic colors: crystal-clear, green, blue, crimson red - garnet, white, golden roza – ruby and black. The underlying gold on the glass is white or yellow. Real gold which is dissolved in aqua regia is chemically treated for glass production. The finest glass gold is up to 12 karat produced in Heraeus company from Germany. We use the underlying gold from this company which is guarantee of the quality and confidence that it will not go down of the glass at coastal states. Another decorating, floral and other decorations are painted by hand. The production is composed of three parts. Painting glass gold on the surface of the product. Hand painting of the decor and gilding the relief moves. Each of these operations must be burn in a special computer-controlled ovens where the decor smelts with glass to stop wiping out. One burning part lasts about eight hours and the oven reaches a temperature of around 550C. Each product goes in total 3 times to the oven and generally spend 24h there. All our painters have graduated from professional glass school in Nový Bor with nationwide jurisdiction and long tradition.
